Hilton Adelaide
Adelaide, the city of churches is surrounded by some of Australia’s prime wine regions. While the superb Central Markets, at the Hilton’s backdoor, are definitely one of the city’s main attractions along with Gouger Street (also flanking the hotel), home to some of Australia’s best Chinese restaurants. As if that’s not enough, you’ll find The Grange Restaurant inside the hotel, the domain of Master Chef Cheong Liew, named one of the 10 best chefs in the world by the American Food & Wine magazine and justifiably so.
The Hilton is located in Adelaide’s city centre (about 15 minutes from the airport) and has spacious, modern rooms, with views towards either the Adelaide Hills or the ocean, and offers all the mod-cons you would expect of a Hilton Hotel. Breakfast, especially in the executive lounge, is good, the recreational facilities (gym, sauna, tennis, pool, etc) are well laid out and easily accessible, and the bar is relaxed and well stocked (often with live entertainment).
